Ship Brokerage Services

Our powerful international network, modernized marketing approach and deep experience allows us to offer our international clientele the highest levels of success whether they are selling or buying a vessel or industrial equipment.

Appraisal Services

Meridian regularly performs appraisal reports on entire fleets, individual vessels and industrial assets. We also provide forecasted charter rates on new acquisitions and new-building projects. We back up our appraisal services at the request of our clients to meet with and present and defend at times our findings to banks, investors and insurance companies.

New Building Services

As shipbrokers, we have acted for owners on some of the world’s largest shipbuilding projects providing to our clientele the highest level of service coupled with complete confidentiality. Our international network of shipyards and naval architect firms allows Meridian to present the latest designs and up to date availability on shipyard capacity and price. We also evaluate the second-hand marketplace on behalf of our clients to ensure sufficient intelligence on the shipyards and available vessels.

Charter Services

Charters remain an important mainstay of Meridian’s Ship Brokerage activities. We currently manage charters for over 15% of all vessels servicing the U.S. Gulf of Mexico Oil & Gas activities. Part of our service’s include fuel consumption analysis, performance analysis and overall charter satisfaction in continued efforts to provide the best possible solutions for our clientele.
