David Weinhoffer – Managing Director/Co-Founder

With over 27 years of international marine industry experience in management and operations, David serves as the Managing Director of Meridian Asset Strategies. Most recently, David served as Executive Vice President with Superior Offshore International, a Nasdaq-traded company operating sub-sea construction diving vessels internationally. Mr. Weinhoffer also founded Maritime Capital Solutions LLC, an international maritime ship brokerage and financial advising services firm, where he served as CEO developing and executing transactions in excess of $300 million. Prior to founding Maritime Capital Solutions, David was the Managing Director of Barry Rogliano Salles (BRS) USA, a subsidiary of Barry Rogliano Salles (BRS), one of the world's largest multi-disciplinary ship brokerages firms.

David also served as an Executive Director of Nautronix, a publicly traded Australian engineering and manufacturing company and one of the world's leaders in Dynamic Positioning Systems, SubSea Acoustics and Automation Systems. David is considered to be one of the world's leading experts in this field also co-founding the Dynamic Positioning Committee and Conference, part of the Marine Technology Society.

David also spent 10 years in operations working worldwide in diving, vessel, manned submersible and ROV operations.

Wes Colwell – Managing Director/Co-Founder

Mr. Colwell has more than 27 years of energy industry experience. He most recently held the position of partner in a consulting firm where he led the firm's energy group and was responsible for expanding and opening operations in New York City and London. Prior to that, Wes was the Chief Financial Officer for the energy trading operations of the investment bank UBS. Wes began his career at Arthur Andersen in 1982. He became a Partner in the energy division of the Houston office in 1995. There he formed and led a consulting group providing risk management services to commodity trading industries. Wes was also integral in writing Natural Gas Trends, one of the firm's publications focused on the U. S. domestic natural gas industry. Wes has significant experience in mergers, acquisitions and business start-ups. He has an accounting degree from Oklahoma State University.

Mark Broussard – Director

Broussard joined Meridian in 2008 and most recently held the position of General Manager of Caribbean Operations for Superior Offshore International where he managed the company's offshore subsea construction operations and business development for the entire Caribbean. He also served as President of Seabrokers, Inc. a U.S. subsidiary of the international ship brokerage firm. Mark has developed and participated in over 125 vessel charters. Mark also received a B.S. in Maritime Administration from Texas A&M Galveston in 1999.
